We've been wanting to get a patio or deck in our backyard. After much thinking, we decided to go for a patio instead of a deck because we think it will go better with our house. Rich did the calling and meeting to get quotes, and we ended up deciding to do a "Stamped concrete" patio. It's concrete, with a "stamped" design on it....you choose the color, the stamp you want, and hopefully we've chosen well. We will have to see when we have the finished product!
Here is a picture of our backyard "pre patio", we just use our furniture on the grass.
Here is the patio now prepared viewed from inside our kitchen screen door. They were just starting to pour the cement (see bottom right)
