Tyler's class (Pre-K or Preschool II) had their first homework this week. They were supposed to find something unique that they have at their house and nobody else would have, therefore "unique". So the other day Tyler found what he wanted to use: a black dog toy squirrel that we bought for Phoebe a while ago and she never even touched, but it became a fun squeaky and noisy toy for the kids to play with. Tyler thought it was unique that we had a black squirrel in our house. So on Wednesday he sat with Rich and he drew the outline of the squirrel, and then this morning he put the finishing touches: writing "black squirrel" on the paper. We wrote the words on a separate piece of paper for him so that he could copy them and I think he did a great job! We are so proud of him!

And here he is with the finished product
