We arrived to Ludington State Park on Friday around 3:40 p.m. and went for a walk...this is Lost Lake, which connects with Hamlin Lake, the path was almost across from our site! Pretty nice
We had made plans to go to eat our Friday pizza to a local place that was highly recommended, but they had a long wait and it was pretty late for the kiddos, so we drove to Pizza Hut. Here they are happy after eating pizza!

In the afternoon, we headed to the beach. Phoebe had to stay in the car (dogs are prohibited in all beaches and they have plenty of signs all over the place!) but thankfully we found a shady spot, and it was breezy so I just checked on her and gave her water every 15 min or so. The water was colder than last time we went to Lake Michigan (cold enough to gasp but okay enough to be in it for more than a couple of minutes!), and the kids had a blast.....well, we enjoyed it as well, it was a gorgeous afternoon!
Saturday evening the kids had smores.....they were more excited about actually making them than eating them (Isabella only ate half, and Tyler gave me his last bite....weird kids, I know!!)
